Greetings, my name is John Luke
I am a clinically licensed psychotherapist, and I help people to effectively manage anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns, using cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic techniques.
My primary work is with adults, developing insight into the source of problems, identifying how core beliefs about the world and self might be hindering progress, and focusing on natural strengths to overcome these barriers with practical skills that generate sustainable change. I have had a broad range of clinical experiences which have equipped me with an effective set of tools, strategies, and insights to help individuals self-develop both quickly and desirably. One of the attributes that makes my practice unique is that at a time when America is highly polarized and people feel unsafe expressing themselves, my practice is one where complete authenticity and freedom of thought are not only permitted but encouraged. The freedom to both be and express yourself freely is critical to self-development and improving mental health.
